About Me
I'm Tyrone. I live in a place called England, which is currently part of not-America. I've been prodding at computers since middle school. I worked many years pushing a mouse around in process plant engineering, then resigned to study full-time with the Open University. I was awarded a first-class BSc (Hons) in Computing & IT. I intermittently freelanced my way through the pandemic, and have recently started a proper job in front-end web dev.
When left to my own devices, my current techy preferences are:
- Coding font: Iosevka, the narrow pitch and character shapes remind of some of the nicer Vax terminals from the late 20th century
- Bracing and indentation: the One True Brace Style, with tabs for indentation and spaces for alignment
- General purpose scripting language: Python
- Editor: VS Code (until I want to f5g print something)
- Source control:
copying files to a backup subdirectory with today's date on it, er, I mean, Git
And my favourite part of the HTML5 spec is:
The painfully contrived semantic definitions for the erstwhile bold, italic and underline tags:
- <b> = Bring attention to
- <i> = Idiomatic text
- <u> = Unarticulated annotation

Why "All The Good Ones Were Taken"?
Years ago I decided I wanted a personal domain name, and went to a domain registrar with a bunch of ideas, and, well...
